After nearly a decade as a federal lobbyist, Dr. Maybank founded The Almond Group. Monica and her team work with executives, leadership teams, and government affairs organizations nationwide, guiding them through organizational strategy, leadership development, and long-term vision execution.
Monica holds an Executive Certificate in Strategic Management from Georgetown University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Howard University and a doctoral degree in education policy, evaluation, and reform from Claremont Graduate University.
Monica is a proud wife to a U.S. Army combat veteran and a mother of four daughters.
